![]() Kisner...work from back to front. I'd pull the headliner as tight as possible without risking tearing it, although a hand steamer will remove most all the minor wrinkles you could have. The C pillars require the greatest effort. Notch the fabric around the upper corners to help stretch and remove any wrinkles. We pulled the headliner about 1/4" beyond the flanges, however if there isn't any glue on the outside face, the wire used to pull the gasket into place may also partially pull the headliner away from the surface. We ended up trimming back close to the edge to alleviate this problem. If I were you, I'd think about gluing on the outside edge too. We used clear silicone to seal the glass, as opposed to that black goo. We also slapped the glass in an effort to seat it in the gasket. Tips: use the old windlace to temporarily hold the headliner in place on all sides to adjust and smooth out any wrinkles. Also use it to hold in place while the glue dries. We bought new windlace, so damaging it wasn't an issue. Don't load on the glue too much as it degrades the headliner. Hope this helps.
