I've got one on my Mustang. I'm using a Tremec 3550 and have BBK equal-length shortie headers w/ off road H-pipe. It fit fine. Bolted right up. No grinding at all. Sounds like long tubes may be a different story.

As Chris said, it's not SFI approved, but I've had one tech guy look at it/ask about it and said that as long as it's a nice thick steel unit, they don't have any problem with it. If I was running 10's though, he might have given me more of a hassle?
