Windows ME is the most stable OS that I have ever used. For a home PC, I don't think that you can beat the stability and ease of use. I definitely would not tell someone to not buy it without even knowing what they are using the computer for. I have used 95, 98, 2000, NT and they all cause problems eventually. Some are better than others.
