Well, I agree that you should get it done properly. But I bought some used 3.55's out the paper, slaped them in, quick look at the pattern, and drove it. That was 50k ago. No whine, no noise. I know, I'm the luckest person around, I really did not count on this working for so long, but it has. Some times you just get lucky.

Tip of the day with ring gears: Heat it in a BBQ, and it will fall right on.
