![]() Slicks will always give your the best traction. either slicks or drag radials will help you to hook-up and will drop your time alot. for example i have run mid 13 with the same mph that your ran on first 2 runs. thats not with slicks either thats with g-60-15 mccrearys. it's a cheap tire that works pretty good but not as good as a slick. when launching do you just bring up rpm's against the brakes then floor it on green or do you feather it or what?? maybe try not going full throttle so quick to let the tires grab before hitting it.
slicks you will need a set of rim since they don't make them in 17" size. not sure what size for drag radials for 17 rims.
