Ahhhhhh, turning 18 has probably the single most significant "privledges" there is!!! Now, all the stupid things you did before can get you arrested and thrown in jail, AND, they become a part of your "record". It took me a couple years to realize this. Finally, a cop told me that I got away with crap as a teenager because it wasn't worth their time to bust a kid that would get let off with a warning, and wouldn't count towards anything after I turned 18. Once 18, that all changed.
