![]() If you follow the proper way to install the rockers you will have no problems. But if the heads were milled and the rockers are non adjustable then a shorter pushrod is in your future. All you have to do is tighten the rocker until zero lash (no slop) then proceed to torgue the rocker to the spec probobly 15 ft. lbs. or so. It should get tight within 1/4 to 1 turn. It it takes more then a shim is needed. Start with a thin shim which roughly gives you back a quarter turn and if that is not enough a thick shim will give you back a 1/2 to 3/4 turn. Shim the rocker until it tightens within a 1/4 to 1 turn
