In the aviation field, we always used 6.5 lbs/gal for gasoline when figuring weight and balance or gross weight configurations..
I found this: 1 gallon of gasoline = 6.1 lbs. 1 gallon of fuel oil = 7.7 lbs. Source: Ref 389.103 J Jones, Stacy. WEIGHTS AND MEASURES.
