I cruise with a lot of vette & camaro guys, all with over drives. My car is the fastest, but on the freeway its hell (high RPM). Not to mention the much lower first gear and the lower power loss to the rear. I don't just drag race the car. I also autocross, and they have "mountain cruises" here in So-Cal. Vipers, vettes, supras, Stangs, etc.. cruisin the canyons. My buddy did a similar swap on his 78 vette and the Richmond 6 speed is awesome. So I am going with that. I am currently trying to fabricate a hydraulic clutch setup also. Should be interesting.
