How much Fuel pressure are you getting at the Top end?
I have seen a bunch of people get into the LOW 12's with 19's. I would make sure the the Fuel Pressure regulator is working correctly along with the fuel pump first. Also The convertor has a lot to do with how the top end turns out. Mine falls on its face at the top ennd because of my converter but I will HOPEFULLY get that taken car of soon!
