I personally prefer split pattern cams. I have had 7 different cams in the last 2 302 and 351W motors. Most custom designed by myself.
This is an off the shelf (wimpy for my S-trim) TFS stage-I cam:


A wee bit wimpy for my S-trim combo, but wanted NOT to hit 500rwhp and split block, and may get something custom ground next year...
