600hp with stock rods is not a good idea. If you want to turn 6500rpm's I would use arp main studs, and rod bolts with a nice set of rods. I would also have it ballanced to the 28oz not the 50oz. At 6500rpm the 50oz imballance will put some strain on your mains if you do it all the time. A main girdle would be a good idea incase it lets go, it will help save your expensive parts.
Wade One more thing 347's do not have a oil control problem. Will people please stop posting this![]()
