I don't think this wants to be caught. I think he is having fun with this. I also don't think the press should have told everyone that the suspect van had a taillight out!! Do they really think he wouldn't fix it when he heard it on the TV?
This guy is smart and until they admit that, they won't catch him until he slips up and they get lucky. I also don't think he is on the run as soon as he shoots because that's what the police are expecting and that's why they don't catch him when they close off the highways. The police are going to have to start thinking like him if they want any chance at all. They can't find Osama, what makes them think they can find this guy?
