Thats probably because the stock pump is a variable pressure piece. The returnless fuel system stangs don't have a regulator.

Steeda also sells a dual pump/injector/flashed ECM set-up for S/C'd stangs. The 03 Cobra pump is supposed to be nice to and includes some sort of baffling.
