i have a buddy that has a billy truck that does the same thing. it shoots 3 ft flames out the tail pipe if you pump the gas then let off. my guess is that you need new plugs/ wires/ 02's/ or maybe your timing is out of wack. either way something is making the gas go through the exhaust without getting burnt.
