Unless you like the whining noise that the gears make go with a double roller timing chain. I would also go with the cam manufactures recommendation because some of them already have an advance built into them.

You can run the RPM cam with the performer manifold you just won't get all the potential out of the cam that you could. The performer manifold is just alittle better than a stock intake and a whole lot lighter.
