![]() I'm with Eric and Bradley on this one as well... lift-off is my hood of choice, no matter what the design, for anything that gets worked on/tuned regularly.
Keep in mind you don't have to use hood pins. I like the flush mount 1/4 turn Dzus fasteners... use 'em on my 5.5" lift-off cowl ![]() I got sick of dodging the hood prop... I'm too short to worry about hitting my head on the latch, lol. When working up by the firewall, it's nice to have the hood out of the way, plus it lets more light into the engine compartment, generally speaking of course. For a daily driven stocker, or mildly modified even, I'd stay with the hinges. |
