the 4.6's are very durable. Depending on how much money you have, I would opt for a 99+ GT. The 96-98's ran good, but the 99GT's have 40 hp more stock. I've seen stock 99GT's run 14.0's all day with crappy 60 foots. You could look at the 96-98 Cobras, they are about in the same price range. 32 V DOHC Modular....drool...
