![]() You know how you feel when you eat more than you should at a family gathering? That's how your engine feels when it's got too much oil in it. BUT, srv1 is correct, 5 quarts is 5 quarts. If I were you, I would drain every drop, and put on a new filter. Then start it up and let it run for 10 minutes. Let it sit for 30 minutes after that, and check the dipstick. If it doesn't line up, gat a punch and put a mark where the top of the oil is. That will be your new reference point, since you know that it has the correct amount of oil in it.
