I have full length headers with 1-5/8" primaries with a 2-1/2" H-pipe with glasspacks in front of the axle then 2-1/2" tail pipes exitting out the back of the car. At idle, it's actually fairly quiet. It's a very deep and mellow tone; under hard acceleration it's gets pretty loud, but not obnoxiously so. I have the Thrush glasspacks from Summit that costed about $15 each. Very cheap, fairly free flowing, and great sound quality. I don't have much of a drone at all. If you just have full length headers with glasspacks bolted to the collecters and no tailpipes, it would be very loud and very annoying. I wouldn't recommend doing that.
