Not exacly what your asking,, but my 2 cents. ..
When I put my 351w on the dyno with the good old duraspark, the operator, with about a million years experence, was laughing at the dam thing. But whens we tried a MSD box, we lost 10HP. Never was able to get that lost HP back. AND that was the whole crurve, nice and even, down 10HP. I'll run duraspark forever, I think. Mind you my 351w is not a 700HP 7500RPM monster either. Just 430HP@6000.
