Forgive me for saying, but if you're running 15s, you either have a V6 or you DO need some good suggestions.
 With a 1.0 reaction, you did what many beginners do. You probably waited until you saw green before hitting the gas. You should leave when you see the last yellow. What were you driving anyway? I'm no expert, but I've been down the strip a few times. My best is 13.8 at 102 in my 96 Cobra with a few mods.
