You will find the 351 W will be a tight fit in a 65 the shock towers are your limiting factor. They early 65 are pretty skimpy in this critical deminsion.

I would go with a Fuel injected 302, out of any late model mustang 90 or newer with mass air, speed density if you wish will work fine. More parts for the Mass Air motors, you choice. The conversion is easy and you will get good power.

Save the 351W for a 66 or Newer Stang..
