If the car is going to used primarily for the track i would recommend the 8 inch. We have a 8 inch in a c-4 in the one race car and it leaves very violent. It will have a 1.29- 1.32 60ft on a mid 9 second pass. I have a 8 inch in the powergiide in my race car and have been very happy with it. I have a 10 inch 3500 stall in the c-4 in my daily driver and had a 1.76 60ft on a 13.03 pass.

hope this helps
