![]() I paid $1000 for my 87 LX 5.0 with no engine or tranny. For $500 more I could have had the good running 351W and c4 that was in it. I normally never pay more than $500 for a car that doesn't run, but I've always wanted a black car and I love T-tops. Plus, when I really started looking for a mustang, they all dissapeared! I bought one, and suddenly they were for sale everywhere.
$2500 sounds like an awful lot.
