![]() Installed Halogen bulbs on my 68 about 6 weeks ago and it fried the headlight switch. I also know of 2 individuals where it did start a fire. Both were able to extinguish it before any major damage occurred but they still had a mess to clean up and 1 of the individuals had to buy a new wiring harness. Either install the relay or go with original bulbs. I went with the original bulbs (won't be driving it that much at night anyway).
