The bearing is tapered. The side that is smailler in diameter goes in first. Remeber to torque the castle nut to spec and then back it off. While tightening the castle nut spin the rotor, make sure it spins freely when finished. You wanna torque the nut initially to ensure that the bearing is seated properly.
