Since you are looking used on both sides of the equasion, I would personally get the Cobra! Ignoring the performance arguments before, overall you are starting with a much more loaded car for the price. Handling is far better as well. I have a 96 Cobra I got used in 2000, and 80000 mile later I am extremely happy with it (note that 60,000 came during 2001 while relocating). That's my pick, However, for you the key is drive both. Try to get a feel for handling and accelleration. Check your personal comfort. Check for control location. Whichever fits you better is what you should probably get. If you don't notice a difference, then perhaps the GT is the right car for you. Best of luck! |
