The car runs fine (other than the vacuum leak, err, now I guess the rockers hammering on the pushrods) even on regular unleaded with the timing at 14 degrees. But I stick to premium anyway.

I'm going to tear into it one more time tomorrow and see if I can get the rockers adjusted properly (I have no clue what I'm doing). They are knocking loud now that we loosened them up trying to fix the vacuum problem.

I'd be more than happy to pay someone $100 to come and adjust these rockers for me and get my car running good. Valve covers will be off. All you gotta do is turn an allen wrench on 16 rockers and snug down a locking nut on each one. This car can't sit. It's my daily driver and I need it to get back and forth to work, or I need to sell it and get a new one ASAP.

For those who haven't seen all of my previous posts... I have been trying to get this combo running right for quite awhile now and have ended up chasing one problem after another. And with all the other things that I have had to fix along the way it has just wore me out both mentally, and financially. I'd sell the car for the right price, even though I know I'd be kicking myself later. But you know, a brand new canary yellow GT would take away those blues.
