Well, according to Ford
According to Ford, all 429's received a cast intake, part #DOVY9424A, except the CJ/SCJ, the Police Engine, and the Boss 429.
The CJ and the '69/'70 Police Engine had an aluminum intake, part #DOOZ9424C. The SCJ and the Boss both had the same aluminum intake, part #DOOZ9424B. Of course, Ford could be wrong.  Take care, ~Chris
