Cool The Workcar is dead

A friend of mine races a camaro, his car is not quite finished from the winter rebuild. He had a points race Sat. and no car. I said "friend", so I told him to take mine. I have been hunting every weekend so I didn't need the car. He came to the boat ramp while I was at the camp and swaped out the car for his truck. I was on the deer stand and got the call, Where do you want the wrecker to drop the car? I asked what happened, he said ol just an axle. I guess those 1.55s 60fts have taken there toll. It was moser axles in there, but its time for new ones. He gave me the money till I can pay him back but I will order new ones today. He wants to pay for it but I would have broke on me just the same. Well he got some points regaurdless.

Who has the best price on axles?

Man you one hell of a friend.

As far as axles go for me Summit is the only way to go.

Later,

you ARE one hell of a friend. Theres no way I would let a friend take my car without me there, let alone to a dragstrip. And then not really get upset when it broke? WOW

anyway, I got my 28 spline superior axles from summit for about $218. I believe the 31 or 33 spines werent too much more expensive.

Cool

He is going to borrow it again on Feb 8th if his car is not finished. I put a stock axle back in it tonight. This will get me by till the fresh pair come in. Yes me and Paul are good freinds, even though he is a Chevy guy. Corey let me borrow the 89grocerygetter, to go to work today. That thing is bad, rollon third and breakem loose 12.05 @ 114 what a pal.

Cool

I let the local king of rice take it for a spin last week, he now hates his car. Ant, if we ever meet, you can borrow it. You should see the looks I get at the boat ramp.

I tow a boat every weekend, hunting. I also was towing my 4 wheeler to the track, till I traded it for the supercharger.
