My question is on stock 185K drivetrain should I just try side stepping the clutch at 2k instead of higher to elimanate the violent shock or be a man and try 4500 rpm. What rpm is it gonna take to not cause a bogg w/ my 3.55's. Thanks. Oh 60's are at 1.90 right now.
I guess there is just 2 questions I would have to ask. Is this your daily driver? And are you pretty financially stable? If it is not your daily driver and you are stable, I'd say go for it with the high RPM's. If you break something, you wont be in as bad of shape as some other people. If it is your daily driver, I'd be a little more careful. I am looking for a set of slicks, or cheater slicks, so I can see what all the rant about dumping the clutch at 4000 rpm on stickies is about. PM me next time you go to HRP, it is bout 5 minutes from my house and I can meet you there.
