![]() carefull advancing the timing!! i am set at 13 degrees, and i have no problem with running the cheap gas, even with my giant hoover vacuum k&n filter on hot, camaro infested days!! my frend steve (capri306) down the road has 14-15 degrees on his bone stock 87 lx, and he has had detonation problems on anything less than 94, even on cool nights. it is a noticeable seat of the pants difference, its just that is 5hp worth an extra $0.20 a gallon when you fill up?
