Hey there i had the a set of shorty on my stang and i also got a new motor at about 500 hp and i put the shorty back on and had it dyno at 515 hp , i then put a set of hooker long tubes on it and went up to around 540, 545 the guy could not believe it. then i put on an offroad H pipe and 2 chamber flows and it put it up to 570. and that cost me around 900 dollors. see i guess it all depend on the parts he has on the car, they might make it different with different parts. but if i were him i would go for it and they are not to loud mine have a deep tone and when i get on it then it gets loud. but he will get more then 10 horse out of them.
