As far as I know being my car is a Canadian model it had to adhear to later introduced Cali regulations and it is indeed a Mass Air. It has the chip along the intake if that helps. Thanks for the info though. New pipes huh...never would have though of that.

PS-Any info on what exactly things like an air silencer are and where they should be in my car would be greatly appreciated. I'm completely new to this but I do want to do it myself and learn.

PPS-I'm going to go and look at the chip and get a number off it or something in hopes I can get this Mass Air vs Speed Density thing figured out. I can see not knowing it for sure could really screw me up right off the start.
