![]() Ok, so here I am again with another car problem.
The linkage on my car broke (the equalizer outer bracket snapped). So I replaced the bracket, my pedal linkage, put in new springs, etc. Hell while I was there I replaced the clutch (the previous i learned to drive stick on), the clutch disc, throwout bearing. I even added a new Hurst shifter. Now this all looks good, and new, but the car will no go. If I startt he car in neauttral the clutch will not let me shift, and if I start the car in gear it just lurches forward. The clutch does not seem to get full travel, the pedal only gets stiff about halfway down and then it goes to the floor. I have checked my setup (linkages, shifter, clutch, etc.) about 4 times now. It all looks good, but the damn clutch will not engage. Can someone possible through me a line, I have beat my head against the wall to no avail... ___________________________________ 1967 Coupe 200 inline 6 cylinder engine Currently in the process of ressurrection.
