You can't be sure by just paying a lot of money. You must understand what is being done to your car. Do what blue00gt said and see if you get the numbers that you should get?

If you do have a limited slip differential, then you should get that number of turns of the drive shaft for each tire rotation that occurs. Not really difficult to understand. Do make sure that the R & L sides are turning equally though showing the limited slip function..
