3000 stall is just about perfect for your combo. My Mustang is a 5spd but the 67 Camaro I had before was a Turbo 350, 4:11 gears with a B&M 3000 stall Superholeshot converter. It drove great on the street. That stall is NOT where it will rpm to all the time. You've got great gears to match that stall converter. DO IT - you won't regret it!
