The Eaton SC and the Vortech SC provide different types of power curves. The Eaton will provide boost sooner and replaces the plastic intake. That's the way I would probably go.

Vortech makes a lot of SC's and I've never heard of anyone with problems. It will build power in the upper RPMs, but I still think I'd take the Eaton over it.
