Well as I said it was a stupid question so it would require a stupid answer.. I went to my friend at the tranny shop and he told me what to do . Long story short was I was looking for the wrong thing because I was so frusturated from being under the car for many hours that I was overlooking the obvious. It was right where it was supposed to be and the hole I was talking about was the hole in the case that goes to nowhere next to the filler tube. I have to admit I am a Chevy guy and I am building this for my wife but I am trying to like this car as it is pretty nice........ just expensive. I originally signed up so she could use it but as you see here "I" am. So thanks for the reply all it was appreciated.
