the mini starter
I highly recommend following the previous suggestion for the ford mini starter. I am not sure if it will help ur particular problem, but it will greatly help with exhaust clearance problems. I put one on this spring ($25-$30) from the local junk yard.....gave me so much more room for my full length headers and everything else.
