![]() Along with the advice mentioned above......Well, the intercooler will make a great diff in the amt of boost you can run. It also kinda depends on where you primarily use the car. If it is your only car, I'd be really careful. Get yourself some good gauges and get the car tune properly. Get a good chip burned for it. 14 lbs is relatively getting kinda high. I personally would feel safer at 10 lbs. Procharger talks a lot of talk and most of it they've been able to back up. They mention running one of their blowers (eg, D1-SC) with a 3-core intercooler ON PUMP gas (92 octane) with stock internals at 10 lbs (and suggesting a safe range of 10 to 15 lbs) and creating larges amt of hp. Still though, I wouldn't run plain pump gas at anything above 10 lbs and I'd rather forged pistons. Anywhere around 15lbs, I'd be thinking of getting forged crank and updating the whole exhause and intake (including heads, cam, etc, etc). Hope that helps just a little.
