The only parts of Canada that I've been to are Windsor, Nova Scoitia (sp?) and Prince Edward Island. Beautiful country up there near NS and PEI.

In the arctic, yes. There are several mines north of Yellowknife and they have access to the mine via plane or ice road. The ice road is only open for about 6 weeks in Feb/Mar.
