If your 5.0 is similar to my '94 5.0 Cobra, then...

I've shared your pain. Those two top bolts really suck...

What I did, was to attach the socket to one of those "universal joint" type drives, followed by a 12" extension bar, such that I could attach the ratchet to the other end, and have a greater range of movement, of course, you'll likely only turn the bolt a little at a time, but it should work.

PS. make sure you have a good quality "joint" when you attempt this!
