For future reference - my 68 hardtop looked like yours when I got it. The only good news was there was no major rust on the body and I only had to replace the trunk lid, both valances, and the headlight buckets. I restored it from ground up and only paid someone to rebuild the engine, transmission, and do the actual painting. Every nut and bolt was restored or purchased new (mostly new old stock). I do have an extremely high category 2 show car, but it took every free second I had for 4 years and $15,100 to do it. It's a "very" expensive undertaking especially if you start out with what you and I both had. And also, most people I know have more in their restored cars than they're worth.
