My motor is a STOCK 302 from the head gaskets down. Up top sits a Victor Jr., and I'm running 13.0's with a 750 Holley. Bottom end torque IS much better than you think (as mentioned already) and it just keeps making power and will MPH like crazy (105!)

I'm building a 408 this winter, and it's getting a Jr as well.
Vic. Jr. definitely gets my vote!
