I agree with these guys.It takes time, and lots of practice.Try different rpms off the line.Change your shift points.See what works best for you.You are losing most of your ground off the line.Try to get that reaction time down.Leave when you see the 3rd amber just like Snakeman said.You won't redlight.It will not affect your times, but if the guy you're racing pulls a .500 light and you are at 1.3, you just lost about 7-8 carlengths, regardless if you run a faster time.I don't know where you are shifting , but it should be close to 6000, watch how many rpms you are dropping in between gears, and check to see if you are getting any faster at shifting.Let us know how you come out.Have you tried dropping your tire pressure down?That could help you off the line a little.Oh yeah, go AROUND the water.
