Wow, thanks for all the advice everyone. I do have to admit i feel like the launch is the worst part of my run. Either i spin the tires too much or ill dump the clutch and the car will choke and kill my time. As far as shifting i feel like im getting much better at it driving around town and just jumping from light to light. I SHOULD go around the water? My friend i was there with told me to warm my tires in it. He also told me to put my foot on the brake while they were spinning. He said my brakes are 80% in the front and 20% in the back so if i do that my tires will spin till they smoke. I didnt take his advice thinking if hes wrong and my brakes burn up, what will he care? its not his car. Anyway i just spun them in the pit a little bit before i ran but it didnt seem to help. Thanks again for the advice everyone and ill get my new times up as soon as i can.
