Most of the time when I miss gears its because I forget to adjust the stops on the shifter. I pull my pro-shifted box apart quite often and the stops always need adjusted. About the only thing I break consistently is the roll pin that holds the 1-2 fork on to the shift rod. Its really a simple fix. You should pull the covers off and tell us what you find.
