With C-clip eliminators, you actually remove the stock axle bearings & seals and cut off about 1/2" of the housing end. The elims then bolt on outboard of the backing plate and have their own sealed bearing units. Some models have a tendenancy to leak a little. The newer model Mosers have been redesigned to prevent this.
